01 — OVERVIEW
How a label built on one variable ring made itself impossible to ignore.
The brief
Kepler Audio came to the studio with a catalogue of records that shared almost nothing visually. Each release had been designed in isolation, and the label had become impossible to spot in a crowded feed.
We built the identity around a single variable: a ring that could be compressed, split, or rotated to generate a family of marks. The system is rigid enough to feel authored and loose enough to absorb whatever the music does next.
The system
A near-black canvas keeps the artwork quiet. One lime element per cover carries the signal. Typography stays condensed and uppercase so the ring never has to compete with the type.
The result is an identity that behaves like a radio station: consistent frequency, constantly changing content.
